Anybus programming interface

The PSC-ANY unit extends the interfacing capabilities of power supplies equipped with an analog programming interface. It acts as a carrier for Anybus® CompactCom M40 pluggable inserts, each supporting a different communication protocol. In this way, a power supply with an analog programming interface can expand its communication capabilities to other protocols, depending on the Anybus M40 insert plugged into the PSC-ANY unit.

The PSC-ANY can be configured via a USB interface, either through a terminal-based console or by using SCPI commands. Its main function is to translate data between the analog interface of a power supply and one of the supported Anybus inserts, each offering a different communication protocol. In addition to configuration-type SCPI commands, programming and monitoring commands are also available. This allows the PSC-ANY to function either as an Anybus carrier programming interface or as an analog-to-USB programming interface.

The Anybus® inserts are manufactured by HMS Industrial Networks AB. These inserts enable safe, fast, and reliable industrial communication, making integration into automation networks such as PLCs and SCADA easier than ever. They can be ordered directly from Delta Elektronika, from HMS, or through third-party suppliers. The supported Anybus inserts are listed below. Supported inserts and protocols

Our Anybus Interface Unit in combination with HMS's Anybus inserts supports a wide range of industrial communication protocols, ensuring compatibility with various automation systems.

The following Anybus inserts and protocols are supported:

• CANopen (AB6613)
• EtherCAT (AB6607)
• EtherNet/IP (AB6604)
• Modbus-TCP (AB6603)
• PROFIBUS (AB6600)
• PROFINET (AB6605)

The numbers between the brackets are the item numbers from HMS and uniquely identify, the Anybus inserts. See the options section below to see the combinations of the PSC-ANY-EXT with an Anybus insert.
